you wont mess up your hair if you go to someone that knows what their doing - i go to my stylist every 2 weeks for a wash, and every 6 weeks for a perm, and my hair is really healthy, not like it used to be - find a stylist who specializes in hair care, and let them work their magic - my stylist also straightens natural hair and it looks just like permed hair - fyi - she knows what shes doing ! 閳?br>What are some tips for chemically permed straight hair?
You can use basically everything, but depending on how your hair is before you may want to straighten it more with a blowdryer or hair-iron. Also, if you go swimming later that night or next morning you'll want to take a shower

i always wanted to get it done..but my hair stylist said that it would basically be a waste of money and it would only last so long. and plus, i just read where someone's hair actually fell out..so i wouldnt do it. i've tried shampoos and everything, but it never worked on my hair..i don't know how it is on anyone else's, but i just straighten my hair with a hair straightener. it's not easy because my hair is so thick and doesnt straighten easily.. but i just bought a nice straightener so it wouldnt fry my hair.
