If your is curly, I would go with some gel to maintain the shape of the curl throughout the day. Or again, you could straighten it.

keep it shoulder length and keep it mosturized and soft use texture gel too, it helps make the wazes pretty and soft (also if you want to make it more curly use big! hot rollers they make it look great)
