Tips to KEEP my hair wavy?

I have straight hair. But when I air dry my hair after a shower, it makes really nice wavy curls when it dries.

I use Bed-Head hairspray. When I use it on my wavy hair, it kind of weighs it down and over time will make my hair straight again.

So how can I keep it wavy all day? Without using like a whole bottle of hairspray.

I have the same problem. I love my wavy hair, but i have straight hair. What you do is this:

As soon as you get out of the shower, towel dry your hair, so it isnt dripping.

Then Braid it in a tight braid. (Pigtail braids work better)

Sleep in it like that if you have overnight.

If you want your hair like this for the whole day, after a morning shower. Braid it and then blow dry the braids.

A few sprays of normal hairspray should hold all day. No need to weigh your hair down, specially if you want the bounce you get with the wavy hair.

Also, the salt water spray works, but it dries out your hair. I dont suggest it.

maby you could put some gel in it to sort of freez it right there (well might take a fwe minutes) but you could put it onyour hair while it is wet, and maby it would stay?

I heard using salt water as hairspray works really well for waves.

I use VO5 extra body shampoo and conditioner and then just leave it alone. My hair is straight with almost ANY other shampoo, but curls and waves with this :) Super cheap, too.

Well if you want like very nice beachy waves, when ur hair is damp use a curl enchancing spray and a little bit of gel, and twist your hair, then you can either pin up each strand with a boby pin, or scrunch your hair with a diffuser.
