If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.
Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioning so your hair won't be tangeled.
Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week
Avoid combing hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb.
Deep condition twice a week
Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.
While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water.
When using a conditioner leave on for about 1-3 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to have shiny hair
If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair.
If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.
If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.
Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.
After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.
If you dye your hair do it atleast once a year, hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill your hair.

Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything? Biosilk! and it's not greasy at all!
Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything? I agree... Biosilk is pretty good and since haircare can get expensive.. try finding them online and use ebay if possible.
Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything? shower with cool water...not cold!!! NOT HOT, heat damages your hair! when straightening or curling your hair use treseme heat protecting syrum(i think thats what i have, its treseme something) instead of taking the moisture out of you hair (which is the steam that comes out while straightening) it takes away the spray that is protecting your hair. keeping your hair healthy.cool water in the shower makes your hair shiney (very pretty) and it burns more calories than a hot shower...just a nice calorie burner. when i say cool i dont mean frigid.......goodluck
Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything? you could get one of those serum things!
or wash your hair, put in conditioner, wrap in a hot towel and leave for 15 - 20 mins!
try not to leave it for too long though, 'cause it can also be bad! 25 mins max
Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything? my suggestions are simple:
1. stay away from heat appliance when at all possible. constant use, damages all hair-types when used too often.
2. use hair-products, and styling aids custom made for your hair type. (color-treated hair, use that kind, thin hair, use products for thin hair, ...)the used of incorrect products aren't as healthy for the hair. they can prove harmful
3. remember, these are only my suggestions, i don't get paid for any endorments, or anything like that. i am recommending what i recommend to all my clients. ( they love me, and they have "happy-hair") all of my clients and i mean all use a product called Inerol Hair Fixer by Loreal. this is an older product, and i have found it to keep the hair in great condition.
4. most if not all my clients get chemical processes. this product works from the inside-out, of the hair. it makes the hair strong and solid with regular use. ( it will not make the hair soft, or detangle it. that is not it's purspose.)
i highly recommend you get this product.
5. to protect the hair from the "elements" as well as brushing, combing, curling, and life. i recommend a good "leave in conditioner" one that stays in the hair. if it is good the moloecular structor will be small enought that it will not weigh your hair down. let me say again, a product that is custom made for your hair type is the best.
6. beware of instant conditioners, those will coat your hair, weigh the hair down, pull humectants from the air, and you will believe that your hair is oily, or getting dirty all the time. (if you can smell your conditioner when you hair is wet, you may have this coating on your hair, if so get a "clarifing shampoo" that should help remedy the problem.) sometime, you may not need an instant conditioner, only a leave in conditioner. you will be the only one that will know for sure.
7. let me recommend that you find a good designer that you can build a good relationship with. one that you can really talk with about your hair,hair-type, style-type, and a person that will gererally help you. i know it is hard. i promise you they are out there waiting for you. once you find that "special hair-person" they will work with you.
thanks for reading this.

Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything? Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower
You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.
When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years
You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.
