Tips for cutting scene hair.?

Im bored. amaze me.

Tips for cutting scene hair.?

Honestly, no pun intended, to get an emo-esque sense of hair, I just layer my hair with a razer.

Tips for cutting scene hair.?

go to a salon....

Tips for cutting scene hair.?

Go into your bathroom and take a pair of scissors. Looking in the mirror, try long bangs (considered a must have for "emo/scene" hair. Than cut the rest of hair to desired length. Add layers at random intervals. Stop, look in the mirror than decide where you need to add more.

This works pretty well, it worked for me.

Tips for cutting scene hair.?

umm well u need to razor ur side bangs..or u can get straight across bangs...then cut short choppy layers from about rite above ur ear..with shears..dont razor this part.. and keep puting in layers and leave the bottom long.

Tips for cutting scene hair.?

I have "scene hair" and I cut it myself. :]

Wash, straighten, and part your hair the way you want it first. Then get some scissors. When you're cutting it, make sure you soften the ends so your hair won't look blocky. And make sure to cut lots of short layers in it around your head, and have thin, long points of hair at the bottom.

Use this picture and others like it as a reference while deciding how to cut: http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g44/hm...

Any tips on growing wavy hair to look as nice as possible?

My hair is somewhat wavy and I just decided to let it grow longer to change my looks for a while. What products should I use and what things should I do during this clumsy process?

Any tips on growing wavy hair to look as nice as possible?

Doing the "natural" thing is very cool. Get an excellent shaping especially for wavey hair and let the stylist know you are wanting to grow it out (so just shape, don't cut too much). I think if you use a good conditioner and don't use a blow dryer, you will get the look you want. Godloveya.

Any good tips for wavy thick hair?

If your hair is just kind of wavy and you want to keep it that way, try putting mousse in it after it's dried a little bit. If you want it straight, straighten or blow-dry it.

If your is curly, I would go with some gel to maintain the shape of the curl throughout the day. Or again, you could straighten it.

Any good tips for wavy thick hair?

1/2 up with a clip or just leave it down

Any good tips for wavy thick hair?

Any good tips to make my hair grow stronger and longer?

Always use good quality shampoo and conditioner, like Biolage, or Redken, etc.

Avoid excess washing, drying, curling, and straightening, all of the above dry out the hair

To help hair grow a bit faster, consider taking Biotin, on top of your multi-vitamins, and add a daily scalp massage to your routine.

Don't brush your hair when its wet, that causes breakage.... use a wide tooth comb.

never use a flat iron or curling iron on wet hair... this damages the hair, also, when you are going to use heat on your hair, use a heat protection spray.

If your hair is damaged, and/or chemically treated, use a good protein based shampoo and conditioner, I like Joico K-pac and TIGI Dumb Blonde (not just for blonde's).

Hope this helped

Any good tips to make my hair grow stronger and longer?

Get your hair cut as often as they suggest. Say every 6 to 8 weeks. Not getting a trim is actually worse for growing healthy hair because the ends will get in the way.

HAIR MASKS...if you can find products with olive oil, it will be great. And if you color your hair, make sure you use products for chemically treated hair.

Go to the pharmacy or stores like walmart, kmart and look for organic root stimulators line. The containers are green. They have a hair mask called "Hair Mayonnaise" for about 10 dollars. It is worth using it.

Any good tips to make my hair grow stronger and longer?

Any good tips to make my hair grow stronger and longer?

if you have straight here then mostly it will grow straight. As for growing it long while not having split ends, dont straighten it and when blowdrying dont turn the temperature too high. Eat healthy beacause hair needs a lot of vitamins. Dont wash your hair every single day every other day is good enough and be sure to apply conditioner to it. My hair is considered long but i have it layered, the back side of my hair (longest part) is at the lenght of my belly.

Any good tips/creams to make hair grow longer?

GNC has a supplement called "Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.

Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.

If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourshair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results.

I whant my hair cut but im scared if i ask my mum she will just have my hair cut really really short any tips?

family is not a democracy but a dictatorship by your parents. They usually are just, so I advise you to listen to your mother who so relentlessly cared and nurtured you, and show no sign of ill feeling towards her.

I whant my hair cut but im scared if i ask my mum she will just have my hair cut really really short any tips?

talk to her about it it really is your hair so you should make the decision of how you want it cut

I whant my hair cut but im scared if i ask my mum she will just have my hair cut really really short any tips?

So why not just go out and get it done in the hairdressers yourself?! I am assuming you are allowed to go into town with your mates and stuff right? If so then go to one of those no appointment hairdressers like SuperCuts or something, they are usually quite cheap as well! (Thinking how much a 13 yr old is likely to have! =) ) Or even make an appointment a week or so in advance.....it shouldn't be too difficult!

It's your hair hun, you can't just get it done how your mum wants! =) Good Luck!

I whant my hair cut but im scared if i ask my mum she will just have my hair cut really really short any tips?

cut out a picture in a magazine that you want your hair to look like. then just go up to your mom and say i want my hair this length and style what do you think. that way if she says no you can just keep your hair now and save the fight at the salon.

I have oily hair, i have to wash it every 12 hours, does anyone know of a good shampoo, or have any tips?

You may be making your condition worse by overwashing your hair. You strip away all oil from your scalp making your glands secrete more to protect your skin. Maybe try asking your doctor for a referal to a dermatologist to see if they can help. In the meantime, when you are feeling really oily throughout the day, try rubbing a little bit of baby powder at the roots of your hair. That will absorb the excess oil, and keep your hair smelling fresh. Good luck!

I have oily hair, i have to wash it every 12 hours, does anyone know of a good shampoo, or have any tips?

Take a good look at your diet. It sounds like you're consuming too much fatty,deep-fried foods. Cut back on the vats of fats %26amp; oils and focus more on healthy non-fat consumables.

don't use conditioner or shampoo for dry hair.

or don't use conditioners just shampoo conditioner makes it more oily

I have oily hair, i have to wash it every 12 hours, does anyone know of a good shampoo, or have any tips?

That's not normal. See a doctor about it, see if it's a symptom of something else. It could be that you're washing your hair too much. It sounds like you're washing it far too often, and the more you wash it, the more you're drying it out, so your scalp has to release more oils.

I have oily hair, i have to wash it every 12 hours, does anyone know of a good shampoo, or have any tips?

i wouldnt wash it so often, because its actually really bad for your hair, and it dries it out.

but garnier is a really good shampoo and conditioner

well I would say cut down on the hair washing as its stimulating your scalp and making more oil - if you can get hold of any Aussie shampoo or mud shampoo you are onto a winner

Help(: please ...any tips on making my hair wavy/curly-ish?????

many ways.

-at night when you get out of the shower, brush your hair, and put it in about 4 brades, they dont have to be pretty brades, when you wake up in the morning, taske them out, BUT DONT BRUSH YOUR HAIR!!!! if you do, it will get really frizzy, and just leave it all day,

-to get wavy hair, when you get out of the shower, just put your hair in a bun, and in the morning thake it out, and put moose in it and scrunch your hair. wait about a half an hour, till the hair is dried a bit, and then put more moose in it and scrunch it.

-to get curly hair (like ringlets), go to a pharmacy, and buy those curlers that you put in your hair, it will take abut a half an hour to get them on, but make sure your hair is wet to put the curlers on, sleep with them in, and in the morning take them out, dont brush them, just separate the curls a little with your hands, and then spray hair spray in your hair!

hope it works!!!

Help(: please ...any tips on making my hair wavy/curly-ish?????

dont wash ur hair 4 like 2 or 3 days then only use moose and hairspry 2 keep it together

Help(: please ...any tips on making my hair wavy/curly-ish?????

well all u can do is curl it urself but u said ur too lazy, so um just after taking a shower apply lots of gel and hairspray then leave it in a bun for a long time that might help. my friends just use hairspray and just scrunch their hair in their hands and that works for them. but i would say dont get a perm b/c it is permanent what if u dont like it? plus it is very damaging to the hair.

make sure that you split the track with a razor blade so it doesn't look so puffy. Also make sure the tracks are pretty close together. And invest in a good blow dryer. Before you start glueing at all, take a few tracks and go around the head so you make sure you know where to cut at.

Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything?

If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioning so your hair won't be tangeled.

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week

Avoid combing hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb.

Deep condition twice a week

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water.

When using a conditioner leave on for about 1-3 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to have shiny hair

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

If you dye your hair do it atleast once a year, hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill your hair.

Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything?

shower with cool water...not cold!!! NOT HOT, heat damages your hair! when straightening or curling your hair use treseme heat protecting syrum(i think thats what i have, its treseme something) instead of taking the moisture out of you hair (which is the steam that comes out while straightening) it takes away the spray that is protecting your hair. keeping your hair healthy.cool water in the shower makes your hair shiney (very pretty) and it burns more calories than a hot shower...just a nice calorie burner. when i say cool i dont mean frigid.......goodluck

Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything?

you could get one of those serum things!

or wash your hair, put in conditioner, wrap in a hot towel and leave for 15 - 20 mins!

try not to leave it for too long though, 'cause it can also be bad! 25 mins max

Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything?

my suggestions are simple:

1. stay away from heat appliance when at all possible. constant use, damages all hair-types when used too often.

2. use hair-products, and styling aids custom made for your hair type. (color-treated hair, use that kind, thin hair, use products for thin hair, ...)the used of incorrect products aren't as healthy for the hair. they can prove harmful

3. remember, these are only my suggestions, i don't get paid for any endorments, or anything like that. i am recommending what i recommend to all my clients. ( they love me, and they have "happy-hair") all of my clients and i mean all use a product called Inerol Hair Fixer by Loreal. this is an older product, and i have found it to keep the hair in great condition.

4. most if not all my clients get chemical processes. this product works from the inside-out, of the hair. it makes the hair strong and solid with regular use. ( it will not make the hair soft, or detangle it. that is not it's purspose.)

i highly recommend you get this product.

5. to protect the hair from the "elements" as well as brushing, combing, curling, and life. i recommend a good "leave in conditioner" one that stays in the hair. if it is good the moloecular structor will be small enought that it will not weigh your hair down. let me say again, a product that is custom made for your hair type is the best.

6. beware of instant conditioners, those will coat your hair, weigh the hair down, pull humectants from the air, and you will believe that your hair is oily, or getting dirty all the time. (if you can smell your conditioner when you hair is wet, you may have this coating on your hair, if so get a "clarifing shampoo" that should help remedy the problem.) sometime, you may not need an instant conditioner, only a leave in conditioner. you will be the only one that will know for sure.

7. let me recommend that you find a good designer that you can build a good relationship with. one that you can really talk with about your hair,hair-type, style-type, and a person that will gererally help you. i know it is hard. i promise you they are out there waiting for you. once you find that "special hair-person" they will work with you.

thanks for reading this.

Any good tips to make my hair less damaged, shinier, softer, stronger, prettier, anything?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Any good tips on styling short hair?

never ask a bald man to do it

Any good tips on styling short hair?

Yeah! Put your hair back into two small pigtails! It's the cutest thing! I had short hair, and it was so adorable, plus a lot of people complemented me, then they started cutting their hair and puitting it back into pigtails. Make sure the pig tails are more towards the back of your haed than the front or sides. The sides may look to redneckish! LOL!

Any good tips on styling short hair?

flip it out and take some pomade ( wax) and run it through it will give you a punk piecy look.

Any good tips on styling short hair?

i always found wax the best to use on short hair, it lasted better than gel and altho more expensive than gel, u need less so the pot lasts longer too. if u want to do any curling, u need a thin round brush. if u have the money, u can buy hair magazines and they have alot of pictures of different styles and tips. enjoy!

Any good tips on styling short hair?

I think if your hair is straight let it hang and try a side fringe,

(i think it usually looks better then a full fringe).

If you have curly hair then plating it into 2 bunches would look nice.

Are you could take a few strands of hair plated tightly and leave the rest to hang, like have 5 strands on each side plated and leave the rest, this will look good with any hair type.

My hair hardly grows! Can someone give me tips about having thick and long hair.Thank You!?

One of the main problems with hard to grow hair is that it is dry, and subject to breakage. Heat styling will most definitely be a problem if you are trying to avoid such breakage. Since you chemically processed it in January, I wouldn't suggest any chemical alteration of any kind, until you have reached your desired length. The best thing to do is avoid heat styling and chemicals, and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.

My hair hardly grows! Can someone give me tips about having thick and long hair.Thank You!?

Dry hibiscus leaves and shoe flowers for ten days and then make a paste of it and mix it with coconut oil and apply weely twice. Ur hair will grow long and black in colour. Always apply more oil in the scalp and at the tip of ur hair. Dont allow ur hair end to split.this will cause damage to ur hair.

What are some good tips to make your hair not frizzy and puffy after showering or washing your hair?

I really apreciate it,thanks.

What are some good tips to make your hair not frizzy and puffy after showering or washing your hair?

First make sure you have a great leave in conditioner, apply to the ends. I like the pureology products best!!!! Also a shine serum! CHI silk infusion i found works best on all clients, don't get bio silk it has too much alcohol so it' s more driying. maybe a pea sized apply wet to ends. Then dry with a paddle brush. (its all about the products) also most important your blow dryer!!! you want Ionic/ ceramic it's like night and day!!!!After blowdrying

use the cool setting while running the brush through. it seals the cuticle, makes it shinier, healthier, and will last longer. Maybe follow with a flat iron. then finish with the shine drops once more!!

Good luck!!

What are some good tips to make your hair not frizzy and puffy after showering or washing your hair?

Is your hair long or short? Apply a conditioner, wait a few minutes, then wash it of. Try use the same brand of conditioner as that of the shampoo. You can also look at different brands of hair products. If you have dryer hair, you would obviously not apply shampoo for oily hair. That would friz the hair and might even cause breaking of tips.

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

take one spray bottle. mix it with half water and half vinegar.. (i know it sounds gross but it workss! lol) then spray it in your hair before you shampoo and let it sit for a few minutes.

this mixture is super clarifying and makes your hair super shiny [:

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

apply serum to your hair, but away from your roots or else it 'll make your hair look too greasy

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

Try some lite oil sheen.

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

yer buy your shampoo from a health shop not a super market and it will be more expensive but your hair looks much better

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

Use hair serum and frizz ease conditioner. Also, rinsing your hair in cold water will make it extra shiny. I use Dove flexible hold hair spray to hold down my fly aways.

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

Try some different kinds of gels and other things like that try and find the best one for you.

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

Try taking showers with cold water that makes it really shiny im not kidding you!! For fly aways use hairspray.

Any good tips on making your hair look shiny and not fly away?

buy a good shine and frizz serum, so you dont have to buy both individually. a good one is chrome , its alcohol free, controls frizz and gives a great shine, also chi is a good one.

and you dont need alot, use very little . it works best on damp hair so prevent it from getting frizzy in the first place

Any good tips/tricks at straightening hair?

besides flat ironing and blow drying?

Any good tips/tricks at straightening hair?

I use a thermal potection spray on my hair while I'm using the iron.

Any good tips/tricks at straightening hair?

The only best way i've found at straighting my hair.. is using an actual Iron.. one that you use to do laundry.. or going to the hair saloon and buying some spray starch for hair.. and you only need a little bit, and then ironing it with an iron. Just make sure you use a really good conditioner, and treat your hair with a deep conditioner every week.

Any good tips/tricks at straightening hair?

you can get it chemically straightened (relaxed)...or you can ask your beautician if there are any good hair-straightening serums out there that would be good for your hair.

Any good tips/tricks at straightening hair?

well to help with fly aways -even though this isnt straight use hair spray on a brush then brush you hair(the spray on the brush)

Any good tips/tricks at straightening hair?

Yes, You can and the salon can do the job for you. But I see the hair dryer the merchant sells in my Mall in Santa Clara,Valley Fair in which it costs about $150 to $ 200 dollars can do the job as well. So you do not have to see your style list and save money for gas and tip.

Tips for using this hair dryer?

To add more volume you should always make sure you dry your roots first before you dry the rest, it helps with volume. If you put the product onto your root then blow dry you will keep your style all day..

Tips for using this hair dryer?

If you are Caucasian, Native American, Hispanic or Asian with straight, curly, or wavy hair, flip your hair upside down (bend down and look between your legs) and dry your hair. It will add volume to your hair.

If you are African American and want to keep your hair less frizzy, use a diffuser (ask the salesperson at the store you got you hair dryer at) on your blow dryer. This thing with lighten the flow of air from your blow dryer.

I hope these tips help. Have a great life, since I probably won't ever talk 2 u again!

Tips on Teasing fine hair...?

My hair is pretty fine and I tried to tease it with hairspray and it doesnt really work at all, what should I try?

Tips on Teasing fine hair...?

Well I find teasing my hair doesn't work either.

What you could try is flipping it upside down and spraying hairspray or keep it up and lift your hair and spray short bursts of hair spray near the roots. Whats also important is don't apply product at the TOP of your head because it weights your hair down (this includes conditioner too even thought it gets washed out!). Oh and um buying volumizing shampoo and conditioner could help. I hope this helps

Tips on Teasing fine hair...?

a very thin comb, too much hairspray will weigh it down.

Tips on Teasing fine hair...?

You should never tease your hair - that cause split ends and damage.

Try blow drying your hair and use a brush to put volume into it.

Don't tease your hair always, it is bad for your hair.

Good luck!

=)

Tips on Teasing fine hair...?

Honestly hun, if you have fine hair and you want to tease it ... don't. It's going to break off your hair, and kill it BIG TIME. Teasing hair may add volume and look good, but think about your hair and the damage it's going to do ... especially if you have fine hair.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

i have tryed egg and lemon recepie but it didn't work with the lemon i put in my hair ang sat outside in 93 degree weatherfor like 4 hours and nothing happened and i didn't go inside at all.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

i used peroxide and baking powder to give myself highlights. it worked very well!

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

you should use lemon and vinegar

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

Are you trying to lighten it naturally? Because lightening it naturally doesn't work, what you should do it try to go to the drugstore and do a rinse with a color a few shades lighter than your natural color. It won't be as light, but it will help make it lighter.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

CHAMOMILE!! not lemon...you can find chamomile shampoos and condiioners at any drug store or make some yourself but that really takes longer you should go for the shampoo its not expensive at all. by the way its not gonna happen over night it actually might take you a couple weeks depends on your hair color.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

Cheap way is Ivory soap and peroxide. Expensive way go to the salon and let them bleach it.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

household products do not lighten hair. if by some chance it does if will highly damage your hair and probably burn it off. please go to a salon and see a pro. this is what they do for a living. also dont use that sun-in they sell at walmart and drug stores. i can not tell you how many days i have spent fixing hair for teens that try to do this stuff themselves.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

I put ketchup in my hair. It has vineager in it but it isn't as harsh on your hair.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

Try the product called Sun-In it really works and can be found almost anywhere.

I am trying to lighten my hair lemon dosn't work any tips on how to lighten it?

Lemon and sunlight do work; it just takes time. Imagine using lemon juice daily over the course of a summer. Your hair will be lighter, but you might not like the color! Mother nature can make your hair very brassy with lemon juice. It's smarter to try a conventional lightening product for highlights only (it's harder to screw up highlights at home). If you're looking to lighten your hair all over, I strongly recommend you see a professional. Lightening can be a nightmare if you do it at home with inexperienced hands.

TiPS FOR GROWiNG OUT HAiR((but keeping it healthy))!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! AND MAKiNG iT THiCKER???

Believe it or not, but to grow out your hair you must cut it every 3 months or so. This is to trim off the dead ends and keep it healthy. The longer you wait to cut it, the further up the damage will go, not just your ends.

If you're trying to grow it long, wear it in a ponytail more often. (when you sleep and during the day .. etc.) My hair is quite long, and i've found that keeping it in a ponytail really helps it grow faster, and prevents damage! .. if it's up it's not rubbing against clothing or being damaged as opposed to if I wear it down.

Also .. keep it well conditioned, yes .. but do not over-condition or over-shampoo .. it causes hair to become brittle and dry because overshampooing strips your hair of it's natural oils.

Hope that helped ;]

as long as you dont use a blow dryer too long and too much it wont ruin your hair. i have very flat hair and my cousin is the best at cutting and styling hair and when you blow dry your hair you blow dry under neath and it makes it look thick and full. you can use dove volume moose with it too it works really good. to grow out your hair i dont know what to do as much but im trying to grow mine too be cause it too short but some one told me to grow out your hair you got to get a fresh hair cut or a trim. dont cut your hair too short either (unless you look good that way) cause it looks nice wen u 1st get it but it gets really hard to style.

Any tips on lightening coloured hair? Box said reddish brown but end colour is more dark plum. Help!

it is best to go to a salon to have them correct the color, your hair could turn some weird colors if you try to do it yourself. If you want to try it yourself, I have been told to wash hair with dish detergent like Dawn to strip the color or try washing several times with regular shampoo. It is going to depend on how long ago you colored your hair

Any tips on lightening coloured hair? Box said reddish brown but end colour is more dark plum. Help!!?

Wait 3 days and color again using a natural brown ,for now wash your hair with dish soap and condition heavy with your conditioner do the same thing tomorrow. try to stay away from red because you apparently already have red in your natural hair color. or your last hair color had henna in it . It will look better by tonight i promise.

Any tips on lightening coloured hair? Box said reddish brown but end colour is more dark plum. Help!!?

I turned my hair green twice before I got it right with the at home colors and now I never do anything but my usual Clairol color at home. Any other color I like and think I want to try I go to my hairdresser.

Any tips on lightening coloured hair? Box said reddish brown but end colour is more dark plum. Help!!?

I've had the same problem and when it happened to me I used this stuff at my local drug store. Its called "color oops". Its ammonia free and bleach free so it doesn't harm your hair at all but it either takes you back to your natural color or (if you've dyed your hair as many times as I have) it will just lighten it a lot so u can redye it. It's inexpensive too, less than $10.00.

Any tips on lightening coloured hair? Box said reddish brown but end colour is more dark plum. Help!!?

i heard before that if u use green colored shampoo it can help with gettin the color out if u dont like the way it colored. ive never tried this but my friend said her teacher at Barbizan's told her this.

Any tips on lightening coloured hair? Box said reddish brown but end colour is more dark plum. Help!!?

Lightening colored hair should be left to a professional colorist with experience in corrective color. The artificial pigment in the hair needs to be lifted out before there can be a change in color. Hair color will NOT lighten haircolor!. When consulting a colorist ask them what steps the are going to take to ensure the integrity of your hair

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

everytime i take a shower, i towel dry it. when i take it out, i comb it, but i usually don't blow dry it. usually i take showers at night, and when i go to bed my hairs a little damp, but its mostly straight. but when i wake up, its really poofy. seriously, its horrible. i have to wake up early just so i have time to straighten it - which is usually about 45 minutes! how do i make my hair dry straighter?

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

Sounds like everyone HAS the same problem. Lucky for you, I USED TO have that problem...lol. I started using Matrix, Sleek Look. There is shampoo, conditioner, straightening balm and an oil for after styling for the fly away pieces. I have to wash my hair at night as well, because it is so thick it takes way too long to dry it in the morning. If your hair is really damaged you may still need to straighten it some. But if that;s the case there is no other alternative. The heat from the straightener kind of melts your ends together, when you wash it they come apart again. But if you have healthy hair these products should work great! I'm thankful I found them!

Just use a different shampoo. I'd use the Sunsilk Anti-Poof shampoo! Trust me, there is NO shampoo that can beat Sunsilk! It really works! =)

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

This happens to me too when I take a shower at night before bed. I guess if you have time to straighten your hair in the morning you could take a shower in the morning instead. Or you could take a show well before bed. Try leaving your hair in a towel overnight or start blow drying it so that it is not wet.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

sleeping on damp hair is what's making your's so poofy. mine does exactly the same thing when i sleep on it. and i have straight *** hair. try letting it dry completely before going to bed.

its a mix of shampoo, coditioner and hair spray

it really smells yummy too :]]

you can look it up on yahoo search

and its available at Hannaford!

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

use a really good conditioner. don't rub your hair with your towel to dry. just wrap your hair up in the towel and then take the towel off after it starts to get dry. then immediately brush it out and apply a straightening serum. you might want to take a shower earlier and straighten it at night. that way when you wake up then you will be able to just run the iron through it a few times and in like 5 minutes you'll be ready to go. keep your house cool enough so that you won't sweat in your sleep. i've found sebastian laminates products to be the best they are worth the price.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

I have the same problem. I have to wash my hair in the mornings, then scrunch it until it is dry. It would probably save you time to shower in the morning, compared to the 45 minutes to straighten your hair.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

I have curly hair and I normally keep it from frizzing by not washing my hair everyday with shampoo. But I ALWAYS apply conditioner. During days you don't need to leave the house, I would recommend not washing your hair at all so your hair's natural oils can nourish your hair.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

i have the same problem...the best solution would be to not go to bed with your hair wet even if its only damp it makes a difference..but i don't know what your situation is so you probably don't have much of a choice...try using a little bit of baby oil on your hair while its damp before going to bed (not too much because then it might look greasy)..that's what works for me.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

Don't towel dry it let it dry itself. Or comb it out using a blowdryer to.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

you should blow dry it and straighten it at night, it will probably take less than 45 minutes to just do it at night. Then in the morning, turn your straightener on when you get up, then it will be really hot, so you can straighten it after you're almost completely ready to leave. Also, use some John Freida Secret Weapon after you straighten it at night, keeps the poof down. You can get it at the walmart.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

Don't comb it! My freind found out that if you comb it it looks realy frizzy and bad. BUt if you don't and let it dry natrually it looks pretty good. Oh and you should try straighting it in the morning. Oh and buy and antifrizzy product. Also if you straigh make sur to detangle your hair.

Any tips to make my hair less poofy after a shower?

Avoid blow drying. Either get a sraightener, or put it in a ponytail before bed.

Any tips on detoxing your hair?

Hair is dead, it doesn't need detoxing. If you want to remove build up, try rinsing with 1 part white vinegar, 4 parts water, or add 1 tsp baking soda to your shampoo.

Any tips on detoxing your hair?

Actually, in order to detox your hair, you need to detox your entire body. The hair is a snapshot of your entire system and the toxins, minerals, metals in it - better than a blood test because it can actually show a history, not just a single moment in time. That is the premise (gross oversimplification - but the idea) upon which hair analysis works.

You may want to do some reading on hair analysis tests, why and how they work. A good book was written by Andy Cutler about interpreting hair tests: "Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicites" He has a great website about metal toxicity - http://www.noamalgam.com

Any tips on getting your hair to look curly?

I have that "puffy wavy hair" too. I know what you mean. LOL.. Im white and some black people have better hair than me! I started going to black hair stylists and fared much better. A lot of white hair stylists are just familiar with styling typical white hair. I've had luck with Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and Black Hair Stylists. jewish women tend to have the frizzy, wavy hair too.. maybe go to a Jewish hair salon. What I do now.. believe it or not: I first straighten my hair, THEN set it in rollers or use a curling iron.

The same for straight, letting your hair air dry is best, no teasing only parting and spray gel when wet. Good to go woman! Best wishes. I hope you save money on those hair curling washing products. I really suggest spending the extra money on seperate shampoo and conditioner vs. combination 2 in 1.

Any tips for healthy curly hair??

I have wavy hair when it is long and it tends to be frizzy. I have used a couple of brands that really seem to be good for wavy/curly hair. Infusium 23 Shampoo and Conditioner. They also have a leave-in treatment that is really light and won't weigh your hair down and really does away with the frizz. Also what i use most often is Aussie Mega 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner and leave-in conditioner/heat protector. And they have a a 3-Minute Miracle conditioner that you can use from time to time to really deep condition. ( I used it the night before my wedding ) All the Aussie products are really cheap at Wal-Mart!!!!***

Any tips for healthy curly hair??

For curly hair you should shower twice a week. Whoever said every other day is crazy... it'll get too oily... Anywayss... with curly hair avoid using irons, because most of the time they don't work and it dries up realllllly curly hair. As well, for every hair type, you should get a new shampoo every onece a month. And using a shampoo like Dove, Pantene, or Garnier Frutis are wayyy better than the chemical-covered Herbal Essences!

Good luck!

"Maximize Your Hair Growing Potential

There is no magic bullet. If you want to go from a short Bob to long flowing locks instantly than you do have some options, but depending on a variety of factors, they may be limited. Your best bet for overnight long hair is to consider hair extensions, clip on ponytails or long wigs.

Yes, there are lots of things that can maximize the potential of your hair growing cycle but it is absolute folly to imagine that you can go to bed one night with shoulder length hair and the next day wake up with a new inch of growth.

There are some very rare exceptions, but most hair on most people is genetically programmed to grow a maximum of 6 inches a year.

There are some people like Crystal Gayle who obviously grow hair at a much faster rate than the average human soul. However, she is definitely the exception and not the rule."

Any tips for making your hair grow?

Unfortunatly, there is no way to make your hair grow faster, it will be healthier with trims but nothing you put on your hair will make it grow faster. Prenatal vitamins help only when you are pregnant. Your hair grows at half and inch a month and that is about all you can get.

Any tips for making your hair grow?

try to avoid straighten it with the straighter or blow drying you hair. use liquid Castor oil in your hair only nothing else don't pull the hair too much put the Castor oil in your hair everyday and comb it into a ponytail. don't brush your hair to much either. after you wash your hair put it in rollers and leave it to air dry once its dries oil the scalp with Castor oil and put in a ponytail. if you do this give it probably 2/3 months and you will see a difference i did it for 6 months and my hair grew from just below my ears to the middle of my back. Also drink alot of water and steam your hair at least twice a month with a thick conditioner and sit under the hair dryer if you haven't got thick conditioner then use mayo its works just as well.

good luck x x!

Any tips on dying my hair black? (while keeping it as healthy as possible so it doesn't damage)

My hair is naturally black but I dyed it light brown, then to dark brown, and my hair was damaged for the longest time. I just got it cut to remove the split ends and I got a major conditioning treatment at a salon. I really would appreciate if it stayed healthy even if I dye it black. This will be probably be my last dye job for a long while. I so do not want frizz.

Any tips on dying my hair black? (while keeping it as healthy as possible so it doesn't damage)?

Go to a salon babe. They'll deep condition after the color. And at home, keep a deep conditioner once a week, and a lighter one for everyday use.

Any tips on dying my hair black? (while keeping it as healthy as possible so it doesn't damage)?

i agree with soup faerie, deep conditioning helps a lot!! hot oil treatments do as well however these things may fade your color over time.

using a vegetable color, or henna mixed with indigo will do less damage.

using a dark brown black instead of a blue black will also be less harsh.

a little trim after you dye will help reduce damaged ends.

if you do get frizz (which is unlikely to occur unless you've permed your hair) then just use a frizz controlling product i believe sunsilk makes a good one.

hope this helps

good luck

My hair is nerdy and boring. Does anyone have any tips on making ny hair look like Zac Efron?

My hair is nerdy and boring. Does anyone have any idea about making my hair bouncy? You know... When Zac Efron's hair bounces with him as he plays basketball...Do you guys know how to make mine look like his almost awesome hair without having to go through rebonding.....

My hair is nerdy and boring. Does anyone have any tips on making ny hair look like Zac Efron?

DON'T make your hair look like Zac Efron! He's not cute... But if you want bounciness, think volume. Cut your hair in layers and use volumizing stuff. I have really flat hair and this is what I do.

Your question is little bit difficult to understand but you can find many shampoos available in the market that can make your hairs bouncy. However, use coconut oil for your hairs.

I have real curly hair and I hate to straighten it all the time. I need some good styling tips!!?

Ok, so I have real curly hair, and it gets pretty frizzy some times. I love it straight, but I don't want to take the time to make it straight and my mom won't let me get it perminatlly staight. I always have it all the way up in a pony tail and head band. Any suggesions on some nice 13-15 year old styling tips?

I have real curly hair and I hate to straighten it all the time. I need some good styling tips!!?

same problem. i often wear my hair half up half down cause my hair just takes to much time to straighten it..also you can try using a diffuser to dry your hair so it will not get as frizzy and then use hairspray on the top of your head.

I have real curly hair and I hate to straighten it all the time. I need some good styling tips!!?

you can scrunch it...

its when ur hair is went and u take gel or moose...

and just use ur hands and scrunch.....

I have real curly hair and I hate to straighten it all the time. I need some good styling tips!!?

I used to have that problem, but now I don't. I got this gel, that every time I get out of the shower I put it in my hair. I have to watch my hair though. You put it in and it straightens it. It is called "Simply Straight by Marc Anthony".

I have real curly hair and I hate to straighten it all the time. I need some good styling tips!!?

Get a good mousse or gel (curls rock is great). After you wash you hair, towel dry it, and then scrunch product into the hair. It looks really good, and I usually don't have to dry my hair. If your hair still looks too thick then ask the stylist to use thinning sheers to take out some of the volume and frizz. Then use the product and you should be good to go.

I have real curly hair and I hate to straighten it all the time. I need some good styling tips!!?

There's the ion treatment which straightens hair to an extreme, its very effective and it must be retouched every 3 months or so, but its kind of expensive around $200-300, and in order to get it your hair must be a virgin, meaning that it should not be dyed at the moment of the treatment. Still I don't know if your age allows for the treatment to be possible in your case, so go ask a professional if its healthy for your age. Imagine no curls for months. Good luck!

I have real curly hair and I hate to straighten it all the time. I need some good styling tips!!?

Best thing to do is just let it dry naturally, shake out as much water as possible in the shower and don't brush or comb it, as that makes it frizzier.

Use your fingers to "brush" and fluff it out as it's drying. And curly hair pretty much looks better short. I hardly ever use a brush on it.

I know, I'm old and I've never had a good hair day in my life. My hair is thick and curly and every tells me how lucky I am.

Ha!
