Tips to get rid of greasy hair?

besides washing it. lol i think i know that!! but any quick ways to make your hair not appear greasy?

Tips to get rid of greasy hair?

There are quite a few options for banishing "the greasies" temporarily.

The easiest and maybe quickest is to take a little baby powder and work it into your hairline. If you have very dark hair, this can be tricky and look somewhat unnatural if not done just right. Another (easier, yet more expensive) option is using dry shampoo. This product soaks up grease and oil, but the best part is that it's so quick. The most popular formulas tend to be sprays, but there are many out there:

http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jh...

These are just a few to give you an idea.

Tips to get rid of greasy hair?

da way u get rid of greasy hair is when u wash it rinse it out very,very,very,very,very,very,very,very,... very, very good.

Tips to get rid of greasy hair?

try some baby powder if you have lighter colored hair. it may sound weird but it works. it absorbs the oil and grease. put some in your hand and rub it from ur roots to ends. if u have brunette or black hair tho...then it might look like you have dandriff. also try using oil-free shampoo and less conditioner. or condition only every other day. =]

Tips to get rid of greasy hair?

blotting sheets (like the kind you use on your face), perfume (the alcohol cuts the grease), wear a hat, wear a scarf on your head (they're in fashion this summer)...baby powder for light hair..brush a dry shampoo through your hair

Tips to get rid of greasy hair?

Use a shampoo for greasy hair and as you put it on, rub through ends first and then onto your scalp but dont rub hard or fast and not for long.. If you do if for to long or to hard then you will emobilise the oils in your scalp wich makes the problem worse.

Good Luck!!

Tips to get rid of greasy hair?

Sprinkling just a little dab of baby powder on your roots will help. It may show up easily (depending on your hair), so make sure you brush it through completely and maybe flip your head over and shake it out. Changing your shampoo might also help, get one for oily hair. =)

Does anybody know any tips on crunching up hair????

I ONLY HAVE HAIR SPRAY A BLOWDRYER A CURLING IRON AND THE DIFFUSER. PLEASE HELP!!! MY HAIR IS SUPER STRAIGHT AND I WANT TO CRUNCH IT UP.

Does anybody know any tips on crunching up hair????

what i do is while your hair is wet,as in towel dried, put some mousse in your hands and scrunch your hair up, just keep doing it all over you hair and the spray some hair spray on it and let it dry by itself, just keep scunching it up in your hands. it works, good luck!

Does anybody know any tips on crunching up hair????

after you are done taking a shower take some gel in your hands and put it in your hair. it will look like it is crunched up. and it takes less then 10 minutes.

Does anybody know any tips on crunching up hair????

You should use curling mousse and hairspray. After you towel dry it put mousse in it and start scrunching it and blow drying it with the diffuser too. As it dries you have to stop and spray more hairspray and scrunch some more, keep doing that and it will curl up and be crunchy!

Does anybody know any tips on crunching up hair????

If you mean "scrunching", try Curl Booster scrunching spray from FX Special Effects. You can get it at Walgreens or CVS. You'll love it!

Please give me some beauty tips for skin and hair!!!!?

For your skin:

1. Get at least 8 hours of sleep

2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water

3. Moisturize daily (I would recommend Eucerin or Olay Total Effects

4. Cleanse with a gentle cleanser and toner

For your hair:

1. Trim ends every 6 weeks

2. Have a hair spa or hot oil at least once a month (a cheaper solution to dry hair would be to leave conditioner on your hair overnight, covering it with a shower cap)

First take a shower and then blow dry it. Then you have to flat iron.

Dose any one have any tips when straighting your hair to keep it straight longer?

I know that there is a shampoo that you use before you style, you could try that...

Dose any one have any tips when straighting your hair to keep it straight longer?

. Hair Spray

. Redken Straightening Balm

. hunidity resistant hair spray

Dose any one have any tips when straighting your hair to keep it straight longer?

OKAY HERE IS WHAT YOU DO

- first you need to use a shampoo that preps for straight looks

- blow dry

- use flat iron

- use hair spray

Dose any one have any tips when straighting your hair to keep it straight longer?

The best way is Rebonding treatment at a salon. Make sure you go to a reputable salon because cheap rebonding treatments can go very wrong n leave your hair fried %26amp; frizzy! Also, try not to blow dry your hair too much. Just towel dry your hair lightly, and leave it to "hang loose" as it dries. This way, the weight when it's wet will pull your hair straighter as it slowly dries. And of course, a straightening iron always comes it handy for those particularly bad hair days.

Dose any one have any tips when straighting your hair to keep it straight longer?

invest the 100 bucks in a chi flat iron, well worth it, you can even get them on ebay for like 60 bucks. and also use the straightening shamp/cond before.

Dose any one have any tips when straighting your hair to keep it straight longer?

For unprocessed hair: Use Infusium 23 leave-in treatment after you shampoo before you dry and straighten your hair. Use a Maxiglide straightening appliance instead of using a flat iron.

If you chemically straighten your hair with relaxer, make sure you use neutralizing shampoo to lock the processed hair in the straightened state. You can still use Infusium on your hair if it is processed as well.

YUP I KNOW!!

DON'T use hair spray it leaves your hair stiff and not healthy

USE a straightening balm when hair is wet and blow dry it straight with a flat paddle brush.

THEN straighten it with your straightener.

BUT if you don't want to keep doing it every day, do this the day before and put your hair in a LOOSE bun or loose pony tail%26amp;%26amp;sleep, than just wake up in the mourning and straighten the wavy parts in the mourning!

I have really dry damaged hair coz i had it chemically straightened. any tips on how my hair to be h

Yes it is ..it's actually very bad... wether you chemically straighten it, iron it or blow dry it straight..I mean, who doesn't straighten their hair now a days. Thats why you should also take care of your hair. I have been dying and straightening my hair since the 11th grade and I am 24 years old now. My hair is not the most healthy but its not damaged, people that actually know everything my hair goes through actually give me compliments and ask what i do to it so here it goes....

1- you might think this is crazy but i buy the revlon hair dye (just to get the little conditioner that comes with the hair dye)

- put it on your hair at least 2-3 times a month..

- wrap your hair with a plastic bag (thin grocery bag)

- get a thin towel that can cover your whole head and heat it in

the microwave for 1-2 min until very hot....then wrap it around

your head and leave on until it gets cold and repeat until you

have done it for a total of 15 min.

2- get a hair cut every 2-3 months.. getting rid of the damaged tips always makes hair looking healthy.

3- I use "chenice" products ... the multi-vitamin oil..this item is awesome its not oil its just like putting water in your hair it hydrates it its absolutely awesome... and i also use the chenice sheen spray which i use after styling my hair..it gives it this shine and it smells great... it gets that burnt smell off your hair if you know what i mean...

Hope this helps girl!

get a trim just so ur dry ends get cut off. then make sure that u use a leave-in conditioner and try using Pantenes Anti frizz product. It works wonders for super dry hair.

Definetly trim your hair as many as inches as you can let go off. I like Redkin All Soft line- it has a vocado oil in it and it smells like peaches- really good at softening hair. Get the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask. Use as directed.

I have really dry damaged hair coz i had it chemically straightened. any tips on how my hair to be healthy?

i just had the same thing done to me exactly a week ago

well first off so the perm wont come off you shouldnt wash it for at least 2 days (you can condition it, but dont shampoo it because itll undo the perm) and you should use tresseme shampoo and conditioner for dry and damaged hair (theyre black and white bottles) theyre relitively cheap. well good luck

I have really dry damaged hair coz i had it chemically straightened. any tips on how my hair to be healthy?

Use a really good conditioner like Nexxus Humectress. Put it in your hair as a leave in conditioner and leave it on all night. Keep using it frequently and it should get healthier. Also - don't wash your hair every day - that will dry it out further. Instead - wear a shower cap and just wash it every other day. Don't blow dry or flat iron your hair until it becomes more healthy. And be sure and get your hair trimmed at least every six weeks.

I have really dry damaged hair coz i had it chemically straightened. any tips on how my hair to be healthy?

i would do a few conditioning treatments. at home is least expensive. here's how, go to k-mart, walmart, were ever they sell hair things/stuff. and get 1-3 or so individually packs of the hair moisturizer/replenisher stuff. it is a small packet in a foil type thing, that is shaped like a foot i think. but make sure it is for your hair.(it would be in the make-up section in k-mart and about $1.20 each) you have to leave it in your hair for a total of at least 5 min. then rinse but for best results longer is preferable. first shampoo as regular then use a conditioner next apply this. for best resolts use a non friz shampoo and cond.) it has honey and avocado oil and other natural things in it that are good for your hair. dont blow dry or iron your hair let air dry, and you could use a leave in conditionar as well. gel(aussie) worked best for me afterward not a leave in cond.. good luck and hopes to a healthy recovery to your hair. you will have to repeat every time you shower for three or so times it really works.
