Have any tips on getting layered hair? Please Answer?

i have long hair.. to my elbows. There are lots of different kind of layers, but i like the ones that the top layer is shorter than the bottom layer. Im open to all kinds of styles, short and long.

Please help!! I am soooo undecided!!

I kinda had the same problem as you...

I had long hair near my elbows. I

Went to the hair salon and they put my hair in

3 Sections

first the bottom, second the middle and third

the top.

she started wit the bottom and asked me how short I wanted it. Then she went to the middle and used the bottom section to cut it all at the same place and se did the same time to the top section, as soon as she let it all go and finished up I had layers.

And all my friends love the layers I have now..

I is a little pas my shoulders and I dyed it a little and it looks great you should try it

Your hair stylist can help you with that. I was in the same boat, I knew I wanted layers and I didn't know what I wanted them to look like and she took care of it. They can do it based on your face shape so it enhances it.
