My hair is the poffy wavy kinda hair and i have tried every kind of straighting iron imagable and nothin seems to work that well.i mean it works but not as much as i want it to...any help??

at a salon you can get a really nice hair straightener, or something from target, or something. But make sure it has a high temp. setting. It may take a while to do but you'll get used to it, and it's worth it. %26lt;3

use a CHI flat iron i have one and it does wonders for my very long thick natural curly hair. they are expensive i paid 100.00 for mine but go to www.ebay.com and they have them really cheap now. they are like the BEST flat iron to use and good luck. and another thing use GLASS by REDKEN before you straighten your hair. it really makes your hair look healthy, shiny, and so very soft. it's a very good product. i like it better than biosilk. hope i helped ya.

I had my hair done about 4 months ago and love it. It costed $450.00 but was worth every penny! I had the Japaneses Straighting system done. It works, I promise.

My hair was really course and super wavy, after this treatment I can run my fingers through my hair and actually wear it down, instead of up in a bun all the time. I recommend you see your stylist and see if he or she is familiar and equipped to do such a procedure. If not than look for a salon that is and has a good track record on this. Some of my friends went to some other salons and their results was not as good as mine, Their hair was really brittle and broke off and some points. So just be careful and make sure you go somewhere you trust. Good luck

I just use a clothes iron - comb and fan out your hair on a ironing board and iron the front and both sides ( to get the hair underneath). Flip your hair over and do the back side ( this is where most of your hair is wavy). After that, use a thin straghtening iron to straighten any parts that are still wavy.

For better results, have someone help you.
