Your hair will be a lot healthier if you don't wash it every day. The natural oils are best for keeping your hair in good condition. But, if you use a lot of styling products on your hair, and feel the need to wash it every day, use a gentle shampoo, lather once, and rinse well. Use a good conditioner, but try to keep it a couple of inches away from your scalp, concentrating on the ends of the hair. Final rinse, cool/cold water. Towel-dry it gently and let it dry naturally if you have time. I use a silicone-based repair and shine product (Like SunGlitz) which brings out the shine and protects your hair. And finally, COMB your hair out if it's wet/damp, don't use a brush.

Good old Vo5 once a week helps keep your hair moisturized, too!

A guy friend of mine says wash it in cold water. Maybe he was jerking my chain. Wash your hair less, the natural oils from your scalp will do the trick. It'll help your hair grow a lot faster too.

You should rinse it in cold water and don't use hot water. Towel dry it before you blow dry it and don't blow dry it all they way. Do flat iron of curl it either that gives you hair frizz.

I find that darker hair seems to be easier to get looking shiny than lighter colours.

I have a shine spray by tigi that works well - it smells great too comes in a pink bottle so have a look for that 1!

Also use a good repairing style conditioner on your hair that will improve shine.

Flat iron to get it smooth apply some serum and then the shine spray.

You can get certain kinds of shampoo that are sleek and shine....Some gels are also for that kinda thing to just go to Shopko, Walgreen's, target etc..and look at the hair products I'm sure you'll find something!

well i use a spray that really works, but you cant use alot cuz that will make it greasy but this stuff is the best. the brand is ag spray varnish high voltage shine. ive never heard of it but my stylist sugested it to me. try your local stylist or any drug store if that fails then try going to the parlour.com and if that fails to then just post a coment for me and ill try sending the product to you.

Make your final rinse with: apple cider vinegar, distilled water (1 to 3 ratio) that is ice cold. set it in the fridge until it's cold. the vinegar and cold water will seal the hair cuticle and lay it flat - so it will look shinier. plus the vinegar is pH perfect for the scalp %26amp; distilled H2o does not have chemicals that regular H2o does (that lay on the hair %26amp; dull the shine). Honest.
